Waiorua Crisis Respite offers a brief period of stay in our Whare for whaiora that are acutely unwell, are aged between 18 and 65 years and give full consent to stay. Whaiora must have a keyworker/community treating team and be open to engaging with a Community Treating Team to provide clinical monitoring and follow up. Tangata Whaiora must NOT: be actively suicidal or at high risk of self-harm actively demonstrate high risk of aggressive/violent behaviour require acute admission
