Eligibility for publicly funded aged residential care is assessed through Older Person’s Health, with a financial means assessment completed by Work and Income (WINZ) before admission. For eligible residents, long-term care is funded by the Ministry of Health, subject to any means-tested contribution. Private (self-funded) care is also available. Languages Spoken English
